Conference on “Water in times of Climate Change”

Pokja members will participate in an international conference on ‘Water in Times of Climate Change. A Value-driven Dialogue’. This conference is hosted by the Ecumenical Patriarch and the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in collaboration with the United Nations, the cities of Amsterdam, Cape Town, and Jakarta, and partners from
business, religion, government, and NGOs.


11 July 2019:

Living Lab Indonesia Platform
CRCS UGM, Yogyakarta

Pokja members participated in an international conference at CRCS Yogyakarta organized by the Living Lab Indonesia Platform, a Netherlands – Indonesia network of universities and non-governmental organizations working on water-related issues. Pokja Ecology and religion is considered a Living Lab working on ‘overarching themes’.

Continuation of the the workgroup on ‘Ecology as Common Concern’ on 23 January 2019 where the participant discussed the first drafts of chapters and made a planning for further steps that will lead to the publication of a book.
