Pandemic & Marginalised groups, part 2

During the Dutch ‘intelligent lockdown’, many of its citizens were confined at home. However, this situation always applies to “the hidden women”. These women are living in a permanent lockdown; never have freedom of movement and are always monitored; living in an abusive marriage. Who are these women? Why are they subjected to such dire conditions?

Back in Indonesia, how is the situation with the LGBTIQ community? How can they cope during the pandemic?

In this second part of the webinar-series on ‘Pandemic and Marginalised Groups’, the Netherland-Indonesia Consortium for Muslim-Christian Relation (NICMCR) gender working group has invited two speakers, Rev. Drs. Stephen Suleeman, MA.TH (Jakarta Theological Seminary) and Shirin Musa (Femmes for Freedom) to shed light on these issues.
